EDR GmbH Engineering Consultants has been operating both in Germany and overseas since 1985.

With a permanent staff of 50 employees, we offer planning and consultancy services in the areas of tunnel construction/special underground engineering, hydraulic engineering and project management.

The range of services in these areas of work incorporates all construction phases covered by the Fee Structure for Architects and Engineers (HOAI), in addition to the preparation of expert opinions and provision of inspection services in these areas.

Collaboration with other companies of the EDR Group which operate independently but which are affiliated under company law results in a potential 150 employees being available to work on large projects.  The software products centred on quality, document and project management developed and launched onto the market by subsidiary EDR Projekt GmbH support the premium technical services.  With their practical design, these tools guarantee high quality and efficient processing, also in the case of cooperative projects which span locations and where several project participants are involved.

EDR is one of the first engineering consultants in Bavaria to introduce a quality management system as part of a pilot project of the Bavarian Chamber of Civil Engineers.  This system was certified for the first time in 1996 in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001 and is since inspected in an annual external by DQS.
